Titania Inglis

Minimalism is core to the design and principles of designer Titanian Inglis who makes simple easy to wear fashion with startling design elements with low-impact materials including organic Japanese cotton, vegetable tanned Italian leather and old stock wool from the local clothing industry.

Bakos Boglárka

 

 

 

Bakos Boglárka  is a Hungarian fashion designer living in Rome who graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in fashion and knitwear. in this project Bakos used the same techniques employed during Shibori dying to manipulate and change the fabric.

"I concentrated on the driven, knotted and fixed material on the structure. Depending on the shibori technique the material could be made rigid and flexible at the same time which changed the properties of the materials used so far. I created the form with this process, and I have created flexible clothing that can be changed by the movement." Bakos Boglárka

Tsumori-Chisato I

There is a wonderful graphic quality to these pre-fall 2014 designs by designer Tsumori Chisato, with elements of focus and bold colour mixed with great texture and line. Inspired by the roof tops of Prague, Tsumori Chisato loves to travel and is a great collector of inspiration form all of her adventures.

Stéphanie Baechler I

Stéphanie Baechler's work has incredible variety of density texture and planes. It is really fascinating to see her work traverse different disciplines as her ceramics work feeds different elements of her exploration of textile and fashion design. Stéphanie's fascination has steamed from a love of ceramics and its component minerals. This in turn has lead to a desire to take these solid elements and give them the fluidity of textiles and the drape on the human form.

Sorcha O'Raghallaigh

Fabric, fashion and jewelry by Sorcha O'Raghallaigh  constructed from 100,000 safety pins made into capes, collars, cuffs and tiaras creating an iconic look and raising the humble safety pin into haute couture of startling beauty.
Sorcha graduated from Central St Martins in 2010 and set up her own label for which she creates a small avant-garde collection each season. Sorcha creates mainly bespoke garments for private client's.

Roberto Capucci

Currently exhibited at La Venaria Reale there is a display of fifty dresses created in the 1950's by Roberto Capucci,.
Now in his eighties this Italian designers work is just as contemporary and amazing in its sculptural form, its palette, elegance ad theatricality. Seeing the work of Marketa Martiskova there was a resonance between this new graduates collection and this grand master of 20th Century fashion.

Ria Keburia

With a  look book that is like a magic trick, Ria Keburia's collection, photographed with the models skin blending into the walls makes them look as though parts are missing like they are the ladies sawn up on a magicians table. 

Combine that with the textures, silhouettes, drama and unique engineering of these garments and you end up with a very intriguing collection.

Yojiro Kake

Yojiro Kake is a Japanese Fashion designer based in Firenze, Italy. His fashion collections are inspired by films, politics, art and current affairs.

Asher Levine

Asher Levine "I like to be crazy  . . . I just think everyone should be an individual, they should dress the way they want to dress and should show that individuality through their style."
"My name is Asher Levine I am a fashion designer based in New York City, I love life, I love science, I love changing the way people look, and I just love fashion in general. I came to New York and I started making my own clothes and therefore it was very easy for me to sync the style, because in my head I knew what I wanted, therefore I just made what I wanted."
Asher's work draws from the natural world with elements of his clothing being reptilian and insect like. But Asher also draws on the human figure and condition and the way he sees the idea of masculinity developing in society.

Nino Cubinishvili I

Nino Cubinishvili is a Georgian creator who has worked extensively within costume design. Nino's sculptural forms with extremes of silhouette create expressions of the human condition, making emotion into forms of fashion and costume. Nino Cubinishvili seeks and pushes boundaries in clothing using materials such as wood, leather and metal to realise her creative goals.
