Roxanne from ‘Inkdeath’ by Cornelia Funke, designed and made by Yarrow Frost. Yarrow comes from a family with a rich and diverse portfolio of heritage skills and this patience and perfection already shows in Yarrow's work with her own basketry and incredible embroidery. 

Holly Smith

Holly Smith This intricate and detailed costume is designed and made by @the_paper_bin and is of Eddy from ‘Tributary’, a devised piece exploring Celtic folklore within a modern industrial setting, I adored Holly's use of street photography as the jackets surface decoration.

Anna Trevithick

Anna Trevithick's graduate design for Coppelia explores the history behind the exploitation of young Ballerinas within the Palais Garnier, 19th century Paris, questioning “what is perfection?” and “what does it mean to be adored?”.

The shapes were inspired by patterns found in Palais Garnier, 19th century Paris. Made of of lazer cut aero plywood with gold leaf, inspired by the chandelier in the main foyer. The beauty of this tutu was the shadows that it created.

Sleep from ‘Button for Sleep’ by Valeri Petrov, is one of the graduation costumes of  Anna Gradeetchieva magical and poetic.

Iona Lynch

Iona Lynch, The Lady on the Grey, from a Spiegeltent theatre adaptation of Neil Gaiman's 'The Graveyard Book', inspired by German Expressionism and Pre-Raphaelite models. I loved the translucence of Iona's costume, especially on the cape, it was magical in the lights. 

Iona Verity

 

Iona Verity graduating for ECA Performance Costume Design chose to make a wonderful costume for Spiller from The Borrowers by Mary Norton, I will add details from this costume after I have attended the degree show and got to see it close up but I loved every aspect of it in the show.
