Tomoko Kofuneko is from Okayama Japan. She has always been interested in art but became interested in various ethnic traditions she attended The Kanazawa College of Art (majoring in oil painting), and began practicing African dance she traveled for many years she then entered the FMA painting program at The
Kanazawa College of Art where she developed her body expression/ performance work.
