Andy Warhol

Buttons, ice creams and watermelons, Andy Warhol (1928-1987) pulled inspiration from the daily joys of life and this is what makes his textile design sing. You can see many of his designs on display as part of the artists textiles exhibition, currently on display at New Lanark.

A symphony of line like a spider's web showing the structure of the overall roof of the station. Exhibited at the New Lanark Visitor Center, in an Exhibition of Artists Textiles Picasso to Warhol.
