Wiebke Siem

German artist Wiebke Siem makes incredible textile art objects that have persona's from a fairy tale, fantastic anthropomorphic forms made from everyday textiles of suits and towels. Sculptures that have appear to have a life locked within them like a puppet waiting to be animated by human touch.

Dana Mikelson

Dana Mikelson is a costume maker from Germany who creates work for film and photography this is her white and wire creation with photography by Laura Nickel. I really like the wire profile forward of the face in the middle image.

Howitzweissbach II

Howitz and Wiessbach's Aufraeuman collection,often this duo's collection feature a full circle skirt, this dress with full skirt doubles up as a tablecloth to get dye splashed all over it.

Howitz-Weissbach I

I love transparent voiles and the effects of layering that you get with them. This is the work of Howitz and Weissbach called 'High Street Robbery'.
I really like the lookbook for this collection as it reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. This design label has a great morality and aesthetic, the garments are all manufactured locally to the highest possible quality.

John Bock

John Brock is a Berlin based artist unconstrained by any artistic genre, he works between installation, sculpture, film and performance which means that he is often involved in body altering costume as comment on politics, fashion and music among other cultural references. It is surreal, challenging work but has an unrestrained freedom, humour, shape, form and colour.
