Megan Mitchell

This week I am at ECA Fashion and Performance Costume Show 2016. I am starting my coverage of this event with an exuberant burst of colour from designer Megan Mitchell. A collection about capturing your fondest memory and happiest place, when you wake up seeing the world in colour rather than grey. This collection reminded me of the work of French artist Fernand Léger (1881-1955) with its excitement of colour, shape and movement emphasised by the frill and fringe.
