threeASFOUR 'Fest'

Avant-garde fashion and communal food rituals came together in 'Fest', an interactive performance to unite people across cultures, and in all the worlds cultures there is some form of bread. threeASFOUR  used freshly baked Challal bread to construct costumes based on complex wire dress forms, for a one off show where the audience could smell and touch the 'garments'.

“We are using this as a unifying medium,” explained Asfour. “Almost everybody in the world has bread in their culture. It’s a unifying theme.” Fest was a performance at the Jewish Museum on November 11th 2013.
