Nadir Gordon, Waves

Nadir Gordon a textiles and fashion student at the University de Palermo, Buenos Aires has worked with worked 3D artist Jonathan Guerra to develop this 3D printed prototype swimming costume called 'Waves'.
“I began to study the vast world of 3D printing and became fascinated by it, seeing it as an opportunity to create garments and accessories in an innovative way. Designers like Iris Van Herpen and Francis Bitonti, with their sculpture-like pieces, inspired me to experiment with this technology that provides tools to create volume and shapes that are almost impossible to construct with fabrics and the traditional ways of creating a garment.” Nadir Gordon

Marni

Marni's Evening Resort collection 2015 has similarities with many of the 2015 collections, an elegance of merging 1920's and 1950's style and femininity. Layering luxurious stoles, creating visual stimulus and interest with pattern and texture.
